Mentor marine products is a custom builder located in San Diego California. We specialize in trampolines and nets for multi-hull boats. Our nets-n-tramps experience ranges from custom one-off designs to mass produced beach cats.

Our philosophy is to produce the highest quality products, and still be a cost effective alternative in the marketplace. Additionally, our design and construction criteria are based on sound engineering principles, experience, and intelligent selection of materials for a given project. Being sailors, we use what we make, and listen to suggestions from other sailors when creating or modifying our designs. Unlike typical custom fabricators, our pricing structure does not reflect a premium usually associated with the term "custom". Try us and we will show you exactly what we mean. We now offer raw materials in small quantities. Items such as tramp fabric by the yard, high performance Teflon thread, nickel plated spur grommets, and even specialized tools for cutting and fabricating are available from us. These are the same tools we use in our facility and are not commonly found at your local building or marine supply store.

In a continuing effort to be of service to our Do-It-Yourself customers, suggestions and pointers are available to help those who feel up to the Challenge of making their own tramps and nets. There is no magic trick to making your own trampolines or wing nets, however it may take some heavy-duty sewing machines to make the task easier.
